Sophy Burnham:

·        Former executive director of the Kennedy Center Fund for New American Plays, she worked closely for five years with famed Broadway producer Roger Stevens, giving money to theaters to produce new plays and to playwrights to write them. 

·        Helen Hayes Theater Awards Judge, Washington, D. C.

·        Founding member of the D. C. Humanities Council, the regranting arm of The National Endowment for the Humanities.
